Setting Norton Internet Security 2003 To Allow PTS Access

  1. Open Norton Internet Security by double clicking on the system tray icon.
  2. Click “Privacy Control”.
  3. Click the “Configure” button on the lower right corner of the window.
  4. Click “Private Information” and remove any entries that have “Password” in the “Category” column.
  5. Click “OK”.
  6. Click the “Options” button at the top right and select Internet Security.
  7. Click the “Web Content” tab.
  8. Click "Add Site".
  9. Enter the name of the PTS server.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Under the Global Settings tab, remove the checkmarks from each of the 5 “Use Default Settings” checkboxes, and select the “Permit” radio button for each.
  12. Click the “User Settings” tab next to Global Settings.
  13. Remove the checkmarks from each of the 4 checkboxes, and select the “Permit” radio button for each.
  14. Click OK
  15. Click OK

Norton Internet Security will now allow access to PTS, while it maintains security and ad blocking for the computer it’s running on.
